Classic Star Trek zines published for over twenty years.
Now, some of the stories from these zines,
stories that are long out of print,
are being posted here. 

This is a growing archive of  TOS stories taken from the 233 zines we published through STAG, ScoTpress and IDIC between 1975 and 1996. STAG and IDIC were Star Trek fan clubs, whilst ScoTpress was our own independent press. The stories we are posting are all ones that fit the ScoTpress guidelines.

ScoTpress published gen fan fiction that followed the adventures of the Enterprise and her crew, a lot of which involve character interaction in an action-adventure format, leaning heavily on the relationship between Kirk, Spock and McCoy or their relationship with other members of the crew.

The vast majority of stories published by ScoTpress are TOS based - i.e. set during the five year mission of the original series, although we did publish a series of zines based on Star Trek the Next Generation.  Most stories fit into one or more of the following categories - action-adventure, alternate-universe, angst, episode-related, hurt-comfort, relationship.

We are only able to post stories where we have the permission of the writers. If you wrote for ScoTpress, are reading this, and would like us to include your stories please contact us.

After being in contact with a writer whose stories were published by a different editor, we've decided to host original series gen stories by writers whose work didn't appear in our zines. These can be stories that were originally in a zine or new, previously unpublished stories. If you're interested in getting your work posted, and don't have a web page, contact us. However, we do ask that any writer who would like to be hosted here provides us with an electronic, proofed copy. If a story was originally printed by someone else, we'll need a zine/publisher credit. We're not acting as editors for these stories - all we're doing is posting them for the writers.
